Dear Potential New Members,

Just two short years ago, I was in your shoes–filled with nerves, hope, and, most of all, excitement for the next four years ahead. I entered the recruitment process searching for a place that would make our large campus feel a little bit smaller. What I found in Phi Mu was so much more than that. 

When I walked through the doors at 4090 West Lakeshore Dr., I saw women I admired and would strive to be like when it was time for me to leave LSU. I saw a chapter full of women who are strong, confident, incredibly genuine and FUN! I saw all of the experiences Phi Mu had to offer, but most importantly, the women of Phi Mu saw potential in me that I had yet to see in myself. My sisters continue to push me to grow in our philanthropy, academically, and as a leader in our chapter. Without them, I never would have found the courage or confidence to be where I am today.

This August, I cannot wait to meet each of you, knowing all that awaits for you at the end of this process. I’m beyond excited for you to experience first hand what makes our chapter so special. The recruitment team and I are actively working to make our recruitment process one you will never forget. We hope to show potential new members what Phi Mu means to us and what it can mean for them. I cannot express my gratitude enough for every member of the Alpha Eta chapter, none of this would be possible without their overwhelming support and constant encouragement. These girls truly are the best support system and I hope you feel an abundance of love and encouragement as you walk through the brand-new doors of Phi Mu. 

Until we meet, I hope you all have a wonderful and safe summer. Life long friendships, lasting memories and amazing opportunities are just around the corner, waiting for you. I can’t wait to see you at the door!
